October was a great month for NitroVolt, as we hit some big milestones! We ran the first stack experiments on the 3-cell electrochemical stack, and we were able to get the expected efficiency and amount of ammonia! There was big excitement from the whole team in the lab, as we were all happy to see the stack work flawlessly. We have slightly modified the design for easier and faster assembly, and we will be soon submitting it for production in order to run a 10-cell stack before Christmas.
We got also recognition of our green ammonia journey, as NitroVolt was included in Cleantech Group 2024 Cleantech 50toWatch list! This global list recognizes our commitment to addressing the climate crisis and advancing solutions for a green future. Check out the full list of groundbreaking early-stage companies here: https://shorturl.at/MzQdq. Additionally, we are proud to share that we have graduated from the Breakthrough Energy fellowship program as part of the Cohort 3 Innovator fellows! This rigorous program has provided us with critical insights, mentorship, and networking opportunities with leading experts in the field. A heartfelt thank you to the entire incredible BE Fellowship team who have been instrumental in this journey. Your support is helping us make green ammonia available to all!
Alessandro, our Electrochemical Stack NitroEngineer, also visited the Hydrogen Technology Expo in Hamburg, which is the largest hydrogen event in Europe. Here he gathered over 30 new connections to manufacturers and suppliers of everything ranging from gaskets, electrodes, power suppliers, sensors, and much more. We are certain these connections will prove fruitful in the upscaling journey, as we build our first container-sized demo unit.
Stay tuned for updates in November, where we have jet another big announcement to reveal!
Best regards,
The NitroTeam
